Open Bookcase Model 4860 by Carlo Bartoli for Arflex plexi table Two sets availableDesigned by Carlo Bartoli for Arflex, this open bookcase was introduced in Italy in 1963. The construction consists of veneered wood shelves intersected by three vertical supports, creating an open, double sided arrangement that can also be used as a room divider. The broad central upright and evenly spaced shelves emphasise the geometric composition while leaving uninterrupted access from both sides. Documented in Repertorio del design italiano 1950
