ASTILBE DEUTSCHLAND tomato cage or trained up a trellisLatin Name: Astilbe japonica 'Deutschland' Description: The Deutschland astilbe is perfect for adding a bright focal point to shady gardens. Green foliage emerges early in the spring. Soft tufts of white florets bloom through June and July, sending new spires if the spent blooms are removed. Spent blooms turn into caramel seed pods, extending the season of interest. Great for underplanting large trees or filling shady areas. Zone: 3Height: 60
