1948 Gibson L-5P Ampeg 65" nut width1948 Gibson L 5P in excellent condition. The cutaway equipped L 5 was known as the L 5 Premier from 1939 to c. 1948, making this one of the last L 5s to carry the Premier designation. Carved spruce top, flame maple back and sides, 3 piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard with pearl large block inlays. Brazilian rosewood bridge, Kluson sealfast tuners, and a sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish. All original with the exception of an added Johnny Smith
