There are also a few scratches to the sideplates and a little wear around the takeapart screws

This rod is ready for summer steelheading or chasing atlantics in the maritimes

Thankfully the crack is in no way a hindrance to the use and function of the rod

No retail or badging of any sort, though the reel has "D1" stamped on the inside of the frame. Excellent overall condition with normal cosmetic wear but no major defects. The patina is good, the brass foot is nice and straight, and the ivorine handle spins freely. Caged drum design. Caliper style check that is clearly set up for RHW, and the reel has a nice loud click. No tensioner.
