KASSANDRA SAVAGE | 'Spectacular Korrakorr' | Drypoint etching Edition:3/3 “I paint about things I"The inspiration I draw from the Korrakorr is as the totem of my Great Grandmother Maude and is the Kurtijan language word for brolga. Korrakorrs mate for life. I therefore pay tribute to both sets of Great Grandparents on my mothers side. Her Fathers parents: Maude and Frederick, were married at Normanton on February 10th 1906. They only had one child; my Grandfather William and were married until Frederick passed away in 1942 and then Maude passed
