Created as a printer test ahead of the Pokemon TCGs English release, it features Pikachu artwork printed on the back of a Magic: The Gathering card, making it a true production oddity
So if your Commander is Red and White, then you cannot have any Blue, Black, or Green cards in your deck (and the rules also dont let you cheat and use colored abilities either)
Even with the explosion in grading, raw cards dominate due to sheer volume
Even the Sieges that dont have planeswalkers on the back seem to be worth casting on the front, and worth defeating to unlock the back
Garp is closely related to One Pieces protagonist, Monkey D
Perhaps for that reason, at least one speculator has been periodically buying out Pikachu SM98 for a long time
