Marcy: Bartz is the protagonist of FFV, also known as "Butz" in Japan (and thankfully localized to not that in the US)
The Wandering Minstrel The Wandering Minstrel starts with a sneaky good static ability that mitigates the downside of cards like Reach the Horizon, Vibrant Cityscape, and Simic Growth Chamber
By the way, BGU mana cost is also quite fitting (at least for me), possibly representing Sin's connections to oceans (blue), death (black), and the natural cycle it's strangely bound to (green)
Magics artists have provided their own spin on characters, creatures, and locations, but this set also introduces Final Fantasy Through the Ages, which are cards that use art from the franchises decades of history
Eleven, the Mage was one of the most popular Commanders released in the Stranger Things Secret Lair Drop, possibly since it is the first 3 color card that can have a partner in the command zone
With cards, people already know the characters to some extent, and they have personal feelings and attachments from playing the games, so you have to make sure there's no disconnect between the pieces and people's expectations
