Each spell you cast is essentially a red mana, but you can only cash in on it in chunks of three at a time

Do that multiple times per turn, and victory will arrive very quickly indeed, especially as Ralph himself can quest for an impressive three points of lore too

Goblin Bombardment - Best red 4

The Pod in this deck was much more of a utility card than a win mechanism, I was planning on using it to shuffle my library, get card advantage and tutor up the odd answer dork with it rather than chain up into abusive fatties

However, its a fun set to pull for players who want the adrenaline of getting that one really great card

But in a game with plenty of spellslinging, River Songs Diary will be giving you a free spell every turn for very little initial investment.
